Survived my first three weeks as an official Kindergarten teacher. Some highlights:
- Having problem child "E" run around my classroom, hiding under desks and chairs, and when asked to "Look at me," shutting his eyes as tightly as he could and smiling as big as he could
- "D" (who cries and whines at least once a day) in the saddest voice possible "Ms. Chen...my stomach hurts...I think I need some ice cream"
- "Ms. Chen! You have such beautiful shoes!"
One week in vacation...half will be spent in Houston with my little Bro, the other half on the beach in Belize !

I've been without phone/internet service since June 23...so frustrating!!
Thank you Erane, for letting me use your internet *poke your boob*

Quit my job at F&J; started with Uplift Education (district organization)/Peak Academy (my elementary school). Kids come in for summer session next Monday...scary-cool! So stressed and excited at the same time; its exhausting! Pray for my sanity .

Actually got around to watching movies...Knocked Up (hilarious; good story); Ocean's 13 (good); Live Free Die Hard (surprisingly pretty good); and Transformers (AWESOME; loved it!)

Good job to Brian & Elaine for putting together the grill...many a cookouts to come!

Good things are happening...life is slowly falling into place. Am truly Happy .

How is it already February?!? um, happy belated new year's =)!
I've been doing my student teaching--I'm now the official question-answerer, shoe-tier, hand-sanitizer-squirter, homework-checker, etc. for 24 kindergarteners. There have been inadvertent(??) gropings by students, a kid that wanted me to be his girlfriend, the 100th day of school:

Lots of lesson planning, seminars, weekends in Houston, bars, clubs, and now I'm a first stripe-white belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.
